FEEDING THE KIDS:
--Cast Breakfasts, for 3 days before show (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Donate food items/Sign Up Genius
--Wet Tech & Dry Tech meals (weekend before show opens)
Donate food items/Sign Up Genius
--Cappies Dinner
Donate food items/Sign Up Genius
--Star Grams
Candy Donations
--Break a Leg
Snack Donations
VOLUNTEERING TIME:
--Matinee Lunch (Thursday before show opens)
Drop off food
--Cappies Dinner (typically first Saturday of the run)
Set Up/Decorate & Tear Down
--Run concession stand on show nights (you won’t miss the show!)
--Run Star Grams on show nights (you won’t miss the show!)
--Organize Break-a-Leg Gifts (given out on Opening Night)
--Help with cast parties/tailgates/etc. as needed
FUNDRAISING:
--Shout Outs
Money goes straight to the theatre department - Theatre Parents do not keep any of it.
Purchase a shout out for your student (ask grandparents/friends to do shout outs, too!)
Promote Shout Outs
--Silent Auction
Donate items, Bid on items
--Monetary Donations
We accept all monetary donations. These will be accepted in the form of cash, check (made out to LSHS Theatre Parents), credit or debit card or Venmo
Where does the money go?
1.Operating costs for the year: concessions, food, decorations, supplies
2.Student Scholarship: $500 annually
3.Theatre Department: Sometimes if we are able to raise enough money, we donate a chunk to the theatre department for new equipment. In the past, we were able to present the department with a check for $1000 for monitors to go back stage so students can see what’s going on and be ready for their cues. We also usually give $500 toward the State Thespian Festival costs. (Raised from the 2019-2020 year)
